U14 Premier result, and match report.

U14prem  Kilcullen 1-0 Newbridge town Goals: jack  Mom :  Aaron  What a way to bounce back after our defeat last wed which was our 1st loss in our last 20 competitive games so were desperate  to get back to winning ways. And really from the first whistle we were flying , dictating the play and tempo to our passing was top notch with our patterns of play really coming off. We were the better side of the half without creating many clear cut chances in fact the best chance if the game with to Newbridge a deflected off our cb and fell to former Kilcullen player Conor Carty  but the prolific striker scuffed his shot wide from 6yards. 0-0 at half time. 2nd half was a bit more open with both teams having good spells , but with our captain marvel Aaron at the back and Martin in goals always looking in total control. But really bar a moment of magic the game looked destined for a goalless draw but then it came a great through ball from dean found Jack who let it bounce got goal side of his marker and lobbed the giant Newbridge town keeper , fantastic finish that sent the large home crowd in to raptures  With 10 to go.And after conceding 2 very late goal V both Naas teams , we were never going to let that happen again , and we showed how solid we can be to see it out for a famous 1-0 win that will last long in the memory of all involved. Best for us today were Ross, Eoin...

Under 10 Premier yellow.

Please see the match report for the under 10 premier yellow, very strong team, picking up where they left off last year !   Kilcullen AFC U10 followed up the draw against Caragh Celtic away last Saturday 05-September, with a comprehensive win over Arlington at home on Saturday 12-September. Kilcullen applied the pressure from the off and were awarded a penalty 5 minutes into the game which SOT converted. Further goals in the first half followed from a long range effort from NL and 2 good goals from GD. JM was excellent in goals in the first half and saved 3 certain goals. Kilcullen dominated the second half with the introduction of DC and TC at half-time bringing a fresh momentum to the midfield. Arlington did score a deflected goal from a corner kick, which RD in goals had no chance of saving. Goals in the second half followed from DC, JM, TC, GD and LW to round off a good all-around performance. The lads were excellent at holding the 3-2-1 formation yesterday, especially CK, NL and LW,  showed great passing especially DC, RD, GD and the effort was 100% so the signs for the season ahead look good. Regards, Liam &...
