Kilcullen AFC U10 followed up the draw against Caragh Celtic away last Saturday 05-September, with a comprehensive win over Arlington at home on Saturday 12-September. Kilcullen applied the pressure from the off and were awarded a penalty 5 minutes into the game which SOT converted. Further goals in the first half followed from a long range effort from NL and 2 good goals from GD. JM was excellent in goals in the first half and saved 3 certain goals. Kilcullen dominated the second half with the introduction of DC and TC at half-time bringing a fresh momentum to the midfield. Arlington did score a deflected goal from a corner kick, which RD in goals had no chance of saving. Goals in the second half followed from DC, JM, TC, GD and LW to round off a good all-around performance. The lads were excellent at holding the 3-2-1 formation yesterday, especially CK, NL and LW, showed great passing especially DC, RD, GD and the effort was 100% so the signs for the season ahead look good.
